U19 vs Neuqua Wildcats Scrimmage

On a cold, bone-chilling Tuesday 3/14 our highs school side dusted the rust off and got a scrimmage in prior to their home opener on 3/24.

This was a hard-fought match and we were up against a team that already had a few games under their belt this year so we know we needed to step up right away.

The Wildcats came out fast with a try in the first few minutes, but we put on a tough defense and put up 17 points throughout the game.

These scrimmages are great to get our ruggers out on the field and work on a few elements of the game and get the first hitting out of the way and we would call this a success.

As always, we appreciate the parents braving the weather for this one, let’s hope more spring weather is on its way.
